The Pitmasters Club of the Philippines (PCP Inc.) was established on June 16, 2017, with the primary aim of assisting BarrelPro owners and fellow BBQ enthusiasts in the art of smoking BBQ. PCP’s main objective is to support its members, facilitating mutual learning by sharing both failures and successes in smoking and grilling meats. Over time, the group has grown in membership and played a significant role in advancing the BBQ craft in the Philippines.
From its origins as a simple social media group, PCP Inc. became officially registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 2021, transforming into an organization dedicated to advocating, promoting, and championing the art of smoking meat, grilling, and live fire cooking. Since then, PCP Inc. has actively participated in and organized various events, classes, projects, and programs.
PCP Inc. has experienced organic growth, reflecting the deep-rooted culture of BBQ and live fire cooking in the Philippines, where both locals and expats actively share their expertise. The club has become a breeding ground for Pitmasters, nurturing individuals who pursue great food as both a hobby and a small business venture. PCP takes pride in showcasing its members’ achievements and in the spirit of mutual support among its community. Healthy competition among members has led to continuous improvement, evident in the increasing quality of their smoked meats with each pit harvest.
The Pitmasters Club of the Philippines Inc. is still very young and we still have a lot of Live Fire cooking coming up here in PH..
